Passed in peace Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the age of 68. Preceded in death by his mother, Eunice A. Poole, and father Joseph L. Poole. Survived by his devoted companion Linda Poole; sisters, Donna Clark and Deborah Anderson; son, Daniel L. Poole, Jr. (wife, Leslie); and daughter, Kimberly Ellis. Stepfather of Waring -Skip- Justis and Patricia Jedlick (husband, O.J.). Proud grandfather of Cierra and Derek Poole; Kayla Sims; and Alexander and Nathan Jedlick. Further survived by nieces, Susan Zeller and Allison Ripple; nephews, Thomas Zeller, Raymond Schueler, John Speciale and Ricky Speciale; former wife, Beatrice Poole; and many cousins and caring friends.
Retired Major of the Army National Guard, Daniel was born September 24, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, and was proud to serve his country. He will be remembered for his 21-year military career, love of music, and the joy he took in his role as a tenor with the Dundalk Chapter of the Chorus of the Chesapeake and The Longfellows barbershop quartet. He will also be remembered for his many books.

Service to be held on July 3rd
Internment of Danielís ashes will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E Padonia Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093 (410-666-0490). I was so very sorry to hear about your family\'s great loss. Even though it has been many years since I have seen him, I can still remember all of the laughter he brought to those around him. That was truly a gift from God and he used it well. He was a kind and loving man and a good friend to my father for many years. His good nature, wit and smile will be greatly missed. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
