Came to rest Monday Aug.17, 2009 at Kaiser North Sacramento. age 78. She was born April 14, 1931 in Rison, Arkansas and was a resident of Sacramento for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, David A. Chovanec and John L. England; her son Wayne; daughter-in-law Karla; brother Calvin and sister Norma Jean. She is survived by her sisters, Francis, Helen and brothers, Herman and Donald; sons, Ron (Alicia), Jeffry (Krishann); stepson Phil (Tracy); stepdaughters, Linda (Brian) and Michelle; her grandchildren, Samantha (Jason), Angie (Jason) Alison, Julie, Amy, Justin, Christopher, David; her great-grandchildren, Dorian, Christopher, Matthew, Andrew; her loving companion, Leon Dworaczyk and her beloved dog Angel, who she loved dearly. Patsy had a very fulfilling life; she worked for many years as a financial advisor. She volunteered for Easter Seals, Kaiser, Mercy hospitals and Senior Gleaners. She enjoyed to spend her time in her garden, camping, traveling, canning food, dancing and spending time with family and friends and was a member of the Midniters dance club for many years. One of her favorite things was watching her Lifetime movies. She was an extremely loving, compassionate and caring woman who will be remembered by many who loved her dearly.
Donations can be made to one of her favorite charities, Senior Gleaners, Easter Seals and Stroke Survivors in her honor.
Service Information:
There was a private family service at Lombard & Co. on Aug 20 at 2:00pm, followed by a celebration of her life for family and friends at 4pm.
