Martin E. Racey
December 1928   -   February 10 , 2007

Obituary posted by : Joyce Spinner ,  daughter
Person Description:
He was a good guy who had many friends in his hometown of Romney, WV. He would do what he could for his friends and would not want to believe someone could take advantage of another person. He tried to maintain communication with his children, all the while it was important to him to "live out his own life." He was very independent and would not accept offers to live anywhere else but in his hometown, on his own. He loved to watch any 'news' type show and was very interested in current events. He also loved cars & tried to always enjoy a nice "ride." It was difficult for him to get around the last couple of years as he had knee problems, so his car was his independence. I want to send him a big THUMBS UP because that is the sign he always gave to my husband Tom & I each time we had to say good-bye in the hospital. It was usually one thumb up, but the last visit we had with him there before he passed away, he gave us Two! Rest in Peace Dad.

Love, JoJo & Tom xoxox
