Don was a man of many talents. He could write and paint but his passion was music. He was self taught on the guitar and passed this talent on to his only son Dudley Wayne Castecka.
To his daughter Teresa Gail Majeed he passed on the talent and passion for writing and painting.
Don worked hard his entire life until disabilities placed restrictions he couldn't bear. He never liked to sit idle while there was work to be done. Even though at the end of his life he couldn't work physically, mentally he was always thinking and working on solutions to the many challenges he faced everyday.
Don was a deeply religious man and believed in the resurrection. He became an ordained minister in 1996.
Don was greatly loved and is missed daily by his family. He leaves behind a son, Dudley Wayne Castecka, a daughter, Teresa Majeed, his mother Verdes Bennett and father Frank Castecka. Two sisters, Glenda Boykin and Cheri Connally. A brother-in-law Larry Connally. His only grandchild Aisha Majeed. Nieces, Lori Hunt, Robin Connally and nephews Bobby Boykin, and Micheal Boykin.
