Darlene Joy
November 2, 1943   -   August 31 , 2003

Obituary posted by : Kim Nelson ,  Daughter
Person Description:
Darlene was a loving wife and mother...she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and would take such pride to plan special outings with each of them.
Darlene loved being outdoors! From camping to working in her garden she spent countless hours enjoying God's wonderful earth.
Darlene had many friends...just seeing her smile would light up a room and everyone that knew her, knew she always had time to lend a ear or a helping hand.
As a Mother, she raised three children. She gave each of us the courage to never be afraid. Darlene taught each of us many things...but as I look back now that she is gone, the one thing that stands out the most is her undying devotion to her family. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and we all loved the special holidays we had with her...
As a wife, Carl was the luckiest man on earth! Darlene married Carl M. Brooks on November 25, 1961. They spent many years living in the Entiat Valley and moved to Wenatchee to enjoy being closer to the stores (as we all know how much Darlene loved to shop!)
A final word, Darlene was a wonderful woman. So talented and gifted...she is greatly missed.
