David was a 1971 graduate of Dillard University, New Orleans, Louisiana, with a degree in Physics, and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Following graduation, David moved to Erie, PA and embarked upon his first career with American Sterilizer as a mechanical engineer. After seven years he made a career change and was selected to become a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Incestigation. He served in the New Orleans office on the bank robbery squad for two years and in the Los Angeles office for 24 years working on the "tech" squad and a member of the S.W.A.T. team. David retired from the F.B.I. with many accolades in 2002. David was passionate about sports, particulary basketball, footbal and baseball. He loved the Boston Celtics, Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Braves. He "chewed out" many refs and supplied many coaching tips from his sideline seat in front of the televison. David was also an avid runner. For many consecutive years he was a member on the FBI relay team in the Baker/Las Vegas Annual race. In his early years with the FBI, he played in the intramural basketball.
